Venues

To the Aviva Stadium

By Dart – From Tara Street take the Dart train southbound 3 stops to the Lansdowne Road stop and the stadium is directly across the road from the station.

To get to Tara Street Station walk down Fishamble Street from the hotel to the River Liffey and continue along the South Quays past O’Connell Bridge onto burgh Quay and Tara Street station is on your right. This will take approximately 10-15 minute walk from the Harding Hotel.

 

By foot – this will take approximately 45 minutes. Walk from the Harding Hotel to Trinity College by turning onto Lord Edward Street, continuing down Dame Street. At Trinity College go to your right and take the street to your left called Nassau Street and follow to Merrion Square via Clare Street.

Continuing along Merrion Square North via Mount Street onto Northumberland Road take a left onto Lansdowne Road where the stadium is located.

Please note for all large sporting events/concerts at Aviva Stadium there are several road closures close to the venue so it is always advisable to walk or take the Dart train as much as possible to avoid delays.

To Croke Park

By foot - Croke Park is approximately 35 minutes walking distance from the Harding Hotel.

Walk from the Harding Hotel down Fishamble Street to the River Liffey turning to your right and cross the River Liffey by the Gratton Bridge and continue up Capel Street.

At the top of the  Capel Street turn right onto Parnell Street and continue up this street past the Rotunda Hospital making a left on Middle Gardiner Street to bring you to Mountjoy Square.

By following the Square to Charles Streetthis will lead you onto the North Circular Road and the next right will be Margaret’s Avenue leading to the Stadium.

By bus – take the number 16 bus from St. George’s Street to the Drumcondra Road/Drumcondra Station stop and the stadium is about ½ kilometer away.

To get to St. George’s street turn left from the hotel onto Lord Edward Street, continue down the street past City Hall and from Dame Street St. George’s Street is the first major right hand turn.
